Michael B. Jordan Named ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ 2020

American actor, Michael B. Jordan has been named the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ for 2020 by People’s Magazine.

The 33-year-old was revealed on Tuesday as this year’s honoree of the title during the ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ show.

The ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ is seen as a benchmark of male attractiveness and has typically included only famous people and celebrities. It is also determined with a procedure similar to that of Time’s ‘Person of the Year’.

Jordan while speaking during his reception of the honor there are women in his family who are proud of him.

“When my grandmother was alive, it was something that she collected, and then my mom naturally reads it a lot and my aunts as well. This is one that they’re definitely going to have a special place for,” the actor said.

Jordan is known for his film roles as Oscar Grant in the drama ‘Fruitvale Station’ (2013), as the boxer Adonis Creed in the Rocky sequel film ‘Creed’ (2015), and Erik Killmonger in ‘Black Panther’ (2018), all directed by Ryan Coogler.

His television roles include Wallace in the HBO series ‘The Wire’ (2002) and Vince Howard in the NBC drama series ‘Friday Night Lights’ (2009–2011). He also appeared on the soap opera ‘All My Children’ (2003–2006).

His other film performances include ‘Red Tails’ (2012), ‘Chronicle’ (2012), ‘That Awkward Moment’ (2014), and ‘Fantastic Four’ (2015). Jordan is also included in Time Magazine ‘100 Most Influential People’ of 2020.

Michael B. Jordan acceptance of the title comes after John Legend and Idris Elba received it in 2019 and 2018 respectively.
