Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has received the final report of the panel established to investigate police brutality and other allied matters in the State.
In October last year, the governor inaugurated the panel to investigate cases of brutality and human rights violations committed by operatives of the dissolved Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
Sanwo-Olu had said his administration would make public the report of the panel as well as implement it to the fullest.
After receiving the report on Monday, Sanwo-Olu, who spoke on the arduous task of rebuilding Lagos State, one year after it was hit by a wave of arsonist attacks resulting from EndSARS, assured that the State Government would not make any attempt to cover up the recommendations of the panel, whether it is in its favour or not.
