Nigeria’s popular Afro-pop artiste “Wizkid” – Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, has released his latest album titled ‘Made in Lagos‘ to streaming platforms including Online Radio. Download Now to listen via the app.
For a project dedicated to Lagos city and Nigeria, the core of Made in Lagos highlights the cultural exchange between Africa and the Caribbean. For many generations, the music of Lagos has enjoyed a healthy Island influence. From dancehall to reggae, local creatives in Lagos chop and mix music along a wide spectrum of Island sound cultures.
In this album, Wizkid explores the genre greatly, but his intentions were more than just that. The artist has focused on the international audience shown by his choice for collaborations which further affirms the effort to take a good portion of the international streaming numbers.

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun (born 16 July 1990), known professionally as Wizkid (sometimes stylized as WizKid), is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He began recording music at the age of 11 and managed to release a collaborative album with the Glorious Five, a group he and a couple of his church friends formed.
Wizkid signed a record deal with Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E) in 2009. He rose to prominence after releasing “Holla at Your Boy“, the lead single from his debut studio album Superstar (2011). “Tease Me/Bad Guys“, “Don’t Dull“, “Love My Baby”, “Pakurumo” and “Oluwa Lo Ni” were also released as singles from the Superstar album.
