A house belonging to Sunday Adeyemo, youth leader better known as Sunday Igboho, in Ibadan, Oyo state capital, is on fire.
According to one of Igboho’s aide who spoke of the record with TheCable, the house got burnt in the early hours of Tuesday.
Since he issued a seven-day ultimatum to herders in Ibarapa local government area of Oyo state, Igboho has been in the news.
He had blamed the herders for fuelling insecurity in the state.
“Igboho has two houses in Soka. The old and the new one where he lives now. The old one got burnt overnight. We suspect foul play. It could be the work of people who don’t like what we are doing to liberate Yoruba from the oppression,” he said.
