Nigeria’s Kamaru Usman will defend his welterweight title in a rematch against America’s Colby Covington on November 6, 2021.
According to the organisers, the main event of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight 268 fight is scheduled to hold at the Madison Square Garden in New York.
In December 2019, Kamaru technically knocked out Covington in the fifth round to defend his UFC welterweight 245 title.
The Nigerian nightmare, as Kamaru is popularly called, had fought three times since his first bout against the ‘chaos’.
While Covington, on the other hand, had bounced back with a stoppage win over former champion Tyron Woodley.
The reigning UFC welterweight champion, as of March 23, 2021, was ranked number two in the men’s pound-for-pound rankings.
