Former Super Eagles forward, Odion Ighalo scored twice for Al Shabab in their 2-1 win over Damac in the Saudi Arabia Professional League match on Monday.

Ighalo opened the scoring for the Lions in the 12th minute at the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium, Abha, Saudi Arabia.

Eight minutes after, Emilio Zelaya scored the leveller for the knight of the south.

However, the former Manchester United player, added the second goal — which turns out to be the winner — of the match in the 39th minute.

All efforts by Kresimir Rezic’s men to make sure they get back into the game proved futile as the visitors snatched all three points available.

The 31-year-old now has three goals in four appearances for Al Shabab.

The former Nigeria international, who moved from Shanghai Shenhua to Saudi in January, opened his goal account for the Lions in the 4-0 away win against Al Nassr on February 14.

Al Shabab, who are looking to win their seventh league title, sits top of the table with 44 points from 21 matches.
