Nigerian disc jockey (DJ), DJ Cuppy, has been accepted into the prestigious Oxford University in the United Kingdom for a master’s degree programme.
The University of Oxford is regarded as one of the world’s leading academic institutions and also the oldest varsity in the English-speaking world.
The 28-year-old entertainer took to her verified Instagram page to share the news with her fans where she posted a video informing Femi Otedola, her father, and Nana Otedola, her mother, with the couple congratulating her on the feat.
In another post on her Instagram page, the ‘Gelato’ crooner shared a picture of her certificate of offer from the university which reveals that she has been accepted to study African Studies in the school and she is to resume on October 11, 2021.

“Huge news and I had to tell my parents first! … I’ve been accepted into Oxford University for a Masters!!! This degree is dedicated to @Nana_Otedola & @FemiOtedola #CuppyOnAMission,” she wrote in one of the posts.

In 2015, Cuppy, whose real name is Florence Otedola, earned a master’s degree in Music Business from New York University.
She has continued to pull the strings in the country’s entertainment industry with several hit projects and recognition.
Cuppy was in the news recently for her face-off with Zlatan Ibile.
