Elon Musk, the chief executive of Tesla said his company will start receiving Bitcoin as form of payment from customers willing to buy their vehicles.
The decision to review Tesla’s payment policy comes a month after it invested $1.5 billion into the crypto market.
“Bitcoin paid to Tesla will be retained as Bitcoin, not converted to fiat currency,” Mr. Musk explained in a tweet.
