Gulder Ultimate Search Returns TV Screens

Popular Nigerian reality television show, Gulder Ultimate Search has returned to the television screen after a seven-year hiatus.

The show which borders on the survival instincts of its contestants dominated the Nigerian airwaves in the early 2000s.

The show which is a brainchild of Nigerian Breweries Plc, started in 2004 ran for 11 seasons before its break in 2016 and it has produced some talents who have become stars.

Past winners who have become household names in the entertainment industry include; Kunle Remi, winner of the 2010 edition; Dennis Okike winner of the season 8 edition; and Chris Okagbue, winner of season 10.

Nigerian Breweries (NB) Plc. officially announced the show comeback and this year’s theme is “The Age of Craftsmanship”.

To apply, interested participants have to be Nigerians between 21-35 years old. Applications should be submitted to www.gulderultimatesearch.ng between September 1, 2021, and September 8, 2021.

Shortlisted applicants will go through a regional selection process in Abuja and Enugu on September 13 and 14, while the selection will take place in Lagos on September 16 and 17, 2021.

The show will air on DStv and other local stations across the country. However, the host of the show is yet to be unveiled.
