John Boyega, Chadwick Boseman are part of the nominees for the 78th edition of Golden Globes billed for February 28.
Boseman, who died of colon cancer last year, got a posthumous nomination for the ‘Best Actor in a Motion Picture’ category for his role in ‘Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom’, a Netflix movie.
On the other hand, Boyega will compete with others for the ‘Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series’ for his stint in ‘Small Axe’.
Netflix dominated both the television and film categories of the list released on Wednesday with a total of 42 nominations.
‘Mank’, its 2020 movie, led the film categories with six nominations followed by ‘The Trial of the Chicago 7’, another of its project, with five nominations.
‘The Crown’, a project by the streaming giants topped the television categories with six nominations followed by ‘Schitt’s Creek’ with five.
2021 edition of the event, organised by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), will be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
